The whole idea of sex education in schools and how comprehensive it should be have always been controversial subjects. Coming from the generation where young people were told to learn about sex and relationship by themselves, have witnessed lots of terrible incidents caused by the simple lack of information, and now as an adult, cannot emphasize the importance of sex education more to little children.
In this era in which sexual crime, teenage pregnancy and sexual health problems are more prevalent than ever before, the proposed new science curriculum sounds nothing but a ridiculous agenda from the senseless conservative side that would surely cause serious harms to our younger generations and our future.
According to the New Science Curriculum plan, sex education should be ?unambiguously? included in science. Lessons will omit any reference to genitalia, puberty or sexual health and young children will not be taught about how reproduction occurs in order to put any ?adult squeamishness? about sex aside?
